Here is a little help for your kids to write their first letter in both French and English to their French-speaking pen pals.

Learn French with Music: Sous le Ciel de Paris, Edith Piaf

Sous le ciel de Paris This week, in our French class for adults , we will study this emblematic song, by Edith Piaf.  Learning a new language also means traveling to the heart of a new culture. This song will transport you to an idyllic Paris. The French language is renowned for its complexity. But we can make learning it exciting by exploring vocabulary and grammar through popular songs. During our French class, we have studied the verbs "ĂȘtre" (to be) and "avoir" (to have) in French . So, I have asked my students to locate these verbs in the lyrics of the song.To help them, I had previously bolded and colored all the verbs in red. We have also studied the definite and indefinite articles in French.
