Would you like a French-speaking pen pal for your kids?

Penpals4Kids is a fun pen pal program for English-speaking and French-speaking children around the world. The children can meet, chat and play together by Zoom during fun Bilingual Zoom Classes with Margot (their teacher) and they can also exchange letters (by email or snail mail letters) during the academic year.

Sous le ciel de Paris This week, in our French class for adults , we will study this emblematic song, by Edith Piaf.  Learning a new language also means traveling to the heart of a new culture. This song will transport you to an idyllic Paris. The French language is renowned for its complexity. But we can make learning it exciting by exploring vocabulary and grammar through popular songs. During our French class, we have studied the verbs "être" (to be) and "avoir" (to have) in French . So, I have asked my students to locate these verbs in the lyrics of the song.To help them, I had previously bolded and colored all the verbs in red. We have also studied the definite and indefinite articles in French.
