We have embarked on a brand new family adventure. We are going to start traveling again without breaking the bank! Some friends of ours recently told us about pet sitting as an eco-friendly and economical alternative to traditional travel. So, we signed up on the TrustedHouseSitters platform.


The annual membership is 139€ for the basic plan.

We are organizing our trip to New York for spring 2025, and to increase our chances of being selected by hosts, we applied for our first pet sitting not far from home, in the heart of the Breton countryside. We did house sitting for an English family in a beautiful farmhouse, with a fireplace, Persian rugs everywhere, beautiful book shelves, and rustic wooden furniture and beams.

Pet sitting is increasingly practiced by digital nomads, globe trotters, but many hosts also open their doors to families (just activate the "family friendly" filter). Sous le ciel de Paris This week, in our French class for adults , we will study this emblematic song, by Edith Piaf.  Learning a new language also means traveling to the heart of a new culture. This song will transport you to an idyllic Paris. The French language is renowned for its complexity. But we can make learning it exciting by exploring vocabulary and grammar through popular songs. During our French class, we have studied the verbs "être" (to be) and "avoir" (to have) in French . So, I have asked my students to locate these verbs in the lyrics of the song.To help them, I had previously bolded and colored all the verbs in red.
