Our first pet sitting adventure in Brittany, France
We did our first pet sittingin Brittany, France! We
have embarked on a brand new family adventure. We are going to start
traveling again without breaking the bank! Some friends of ours recently told
us about pet sitting as an eco-friendly and economical alternative to
traditional travel. So, we signed up on the TrustedHouseSitters platform. The annual membership is 139€ for the basic plan. We are organizing our trip to
New York for spring 2025, and to increase our chances of being selected by
hosts, we applied for our first pet sitting not far from home, in the heart
of the Breton countryside. The platform is ultra-secure and requires solid
recommendations. We are happy to have received 5 stars and a great
recommendation for the next adventure. Yay! We did house sitting for an
English family in a beautiful farmhouse, with a fireplace, Persian rugs
everywhere, beautiful book shelves, and rustic wooden furniture and beams. Check
out my video on Instagram (please like it if you enjoyed it) 🠋 Or watch it on YouTube 🠋 Pet sitting is increasingly
practiced by digital nomads, globe trotters, but many hosts also open their
doors to families (just activate the "family friendly" filter). So,
it was as a family that we did this first "pet sit". We are delighted
to have been able to help this family who went to England for the holidays. If
you sign up via this
link and use my discount code MARGOT25, you'll get a 25% discount on your yearly
fee. Why this partnership? I am a French teacher (FSL) - I teach French to toddlers, kids, teens and adults. But I want to go further and allow you to practice French in French-speaking countries without breaking
the bank. In reality, there are house
offers all over the world. So, ready for the adventure? Join TrustedHouseSitters now! I was inspired to shoot a few French videos from there. 🠋 Here's one 🠋 Thank you for being a part of
our community. We hope you enjoy these new resources and opportunities. Don’t
forget to share your experiences and feedback with us! Any questions? I will be
happy to answer them :)
